These extended service contracts help cover the costs of parts and labor in the event that your vehicle needs repairs. Depending on the plan you choose, nearly every component in your vehicle may be covered. This gives you extra peace of mind as you cruise down New England highways or wherever your travels take you.
Vehicle Service Contract vs. Manufacturer Warranty
When you buy a new car, it'll come with a manufacturer warranty that covers many vehicle components and repair costs. A Vehicle Service Contract provides additional coverage for your car once the original warranty has expired. Most drivers run out of warranty coverage before they choose to trade in their vehicle, so getting a VSC is a great way to ensure you remain protected from unexpected vehicle repair costs.
There are some cases where having an extended service contract concurrently with your manufacturer warranty may also be beneficial. For instance, there may be some components that the manufacturer warranty doesn't cover that a VSC does. Or, if your warranty coverage doesn't include a replacement vehicle, a VSC can provide rental car reimbursement.

EasyCare® VSC Levels of Coverage
There are four levels of EasyCare® coverage available to fit your driving habits and budget:
- TotalCare® -- highest level of coverage, all vehicle components are covered unless specifically excluded
- StatedCare™ -- second highest level of coverage
- PrimaryCare™ -- components like suspension and steering are not covered
- PowerCare™ -- base coverage, covers components like engine, axles and transmission
